Looks like Drake is finally making good on that concert he owes us.
The chart-topping Canadian rapper (and former Degrassi star) is finally returning to Tampa Bay after a long, injury-related delay, announcing he'll perform at the USF Sun Dome on Sept. 24. According to promoters AEG Live, tickets go onsale through Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. Friday, and will cost $34.50 to $89.50.
As if you need an added incentive to go: Opening the show will be Pitchfork-approved Bronx/Virginia Beach coke rappers Clipse. Your everyday hip-hop concert, this most decidedly is not.
Of course, if you'll recall, the last time a rapper said he was playing the Sun Dome, the show got moved, and then ultimately didn't happen. Somehow we don't think that'll happen with Drizzy, though.
