T-Pain has decided to launch a strike against music-making by announcing plans to stop releasing new records until album sales increase.
Pain suggests all artists should consider putting their music on hold until consumers provide a stronger demand. "I got the mastered version of my [RevolveR] album in my car right now. But I'm not bringing my album out until these artists start selling records again, 'cause ain't nobody selling records unless you Susan Boyle," T-Pain said in an interview. "I'm not doing nothing. I'm not bringing out no album, not dropping no more new singles until people start selling records again, and that's the approach I think everybody should take unless you Susan Boyle or Miley Cyrus." Last March, Pain talked about not getting proper credit for his creativity.
"It's definitely something different for me," Pain said in an interview about his new release. "It's something new that I haven't really touched. I went more towards what I've been trying to do, and figured people wouldn't accept yet. I mean it's kinda hard for people to accept what I'm doing you know what I'm saying? I don't know why. If I do a song, and then somebody else does the exact same song, [critics] like the other person's song before mine's for some reason, I have no idea why. It's been that way for a long time."

WAYNE PLEADS GUILTY TO HIS NEW CHARGES
Rapper Lil Wayne may not have to spend any time behind bars in Arizona on drug and weapon charges once he gets out of jail in New York, after entering a plea agreement with prosecutors in Yuma County Superior Court Friday morning.
During a short change of plea hearing, in which he appeared via video feed from a New York jail, Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a dangerous drug. The charge stems from a Jan. 22, 2008, incident in which the rapper’s tour bus was stopped at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint near Dateland, 78 miles east of Yuma, where authorities said they found cocaine, Ecstasy and a handgun on his tour bus.

DEA agents then arrested Carter. Officials also found a .40-caliber pistol registered to Carter, who has a concealed weapons permit in Florida.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper is currently serving an eight-month jail term in New York after pleading guilty last October to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. He admitted to having a loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun on his tour bus. He began serving his sentence in March.
Carter, who has been one of music’s most profitable figures in recent years, could receive 36 months of probation for the Yuma charge, which is scheduled to begin once his New York sentence is over, according to the terms of the plea agreement. In exchange for Carter’s guilty plea, charges of possession of a narcotic drug for sale, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia against him were dismissed. Superior Court Judge Mark Wayne Reeves, who is presiding over the case, will sentence Carter at 8:15 a.m. on June 30.

Jamaican Drug Lord Christopher “Dudus” Coke Captured
Christopher Coke, the guy that caused all the mayhem in Jamaica about a month ago has been captured:
Reputed gang leader Christopher “Dudus” Coke, who eluded a bloody police offensive in his slum stronghold last month, was arrested Tuesday by authorities outside Jamaica’s capital, the island’s top cop said.
Coke has been called one of the world’s most dangerous drug lords by U.S. authorities and faces trial in New York on drug and arms trafficking charges. His arrest came nearly a month after 76 people were killed during a four-day assault by police and soldiers on the West Kingston slum of Tivoli Gardens, Coke’s base that was defended by his armed followers. At a news conference, Police Commissioner Owen Ellington said the 42-year-old Coke was in good condition in police custody. He said Coke was captured by police manning a vehicle checkpoint along a highway, but said other “circumstances of (Coke’s) arrest are being investigated.”
Coke is said to fear suffering the same fate as his father, a gang leader known as Jim Brown, who died in a prison fire in 1992 while awaiting extradition to the U.S. on drug charges.
U.S. Embassy officials did not immediately return calls. A phone for Coke’s lead attorney, Don Foote, went unanswered. Coke was born into Jamaica’s gangland. His father was the leader of the notorious Shower Posse gang, a cocaine-trafficking band with agents in Jamaica and the U.S. that began operating in the 1980s and was named for its members’ tendency to spray victims with bullets. The son took over from the father, U.S. authorities allege. In recent days, Jamaica’s government had offered a $60,000 reward for information leading to Coke’s arrest.
Also known as “President” to the people of his slum, Coke served as community leader and enforcer in the gritty neighborhood in an area that the government acknowledges it has long neglected.

Now Joey's denying her allegations and released a statement through his lawyer Dawn Florio saying,
“Rapper Joseph Cartagena, known as Fat Joe, members of his entourage and security staff were briefly questioned by members of the Madison, Wisconsin Police Department who were investigating false allegations made by a woman who initially posed as a fan and later claimed to be the victim of an assault after demanding money.
At no point did Mr. Cartagena or any member of his entourage assault or have any improper contact with the woman. It is truly unfortunate that false allegations such as these cause the public to doubt the claims of actual victims of sexual assaults."
The limousine was said to be on the way to a local hotel.
Fat Joe was questioned in connection with the case but never arrested.
