Dj Khaled on all i do is win Remix

“Call it Rick Ross/ DJ Khaled/ Supreme Team/ Puff Daddy takeover on a whole ‘nother level,” Khaled said. “You already know every Memorial Day weekend — Miami is ours. We always on fire. This year was special because we shot the remix video of ‘All I Do Is Win.’ Everyone showed up, from Jada to Busta to Puff Daddy to Nicki Minaj to Fabolous to T-Pain to myself.
“I know it’s hard to say these types of things, [but] there’s only one remix video I know that’s exciting like this, it’s called ‘Flava in Ya Ear,’ ” Khaled insisted, recalling Craig Mack’s Hype Williams-directed black-and-white clip. “First of all, the ['All I Do Is Win'] record is the biggest record in the country. To shoot the remix video is something so amazing. It’s coming out soon. I know there’s photos all over the Net, but it’s exciting.”

Game acts like he dont need promo...but he is doin it anyways lol

If Compton rapper The Game had his way there would be no promotion for his upcoming album R.E.D. Instead, Game believes that after three albums fans of his should know when to look out for his fourth project.
"I'm not into promoting. I give you a date, and if you're a Game fan, then you'll get the album," Game explained to Reuters. "I don't sell myself. This is my fourth album. I don't think I need to do all that."
Although Game doesn’t believe in promoting, his product manager Andrew Flad thinks very differently. In fact, Game will soon begin a promotional tour that includes several stops in Europe and more.
"Sending Game out to touch the fans this way is a must and always helps," Flad shared. "He will grind it out, he will do the work, and he will love it."
On top of traveling to Europe for promotional visits Game will also pay a visit to BET’s 106 & Park, appear on a Geek Out Session with AOL, and visit various cities in the United States to promote the album.
R.E.D. will be released on July 6 on Interscope Records.

Young Money's Drake is preparing to embark upon a series of national television appearances.

According to reports, Drizzy will go coast-to-coast to promote his debut album, Thank Me Later.
The Young Money star has booked appearances on a number of high-profile shows this month surrounding the release of his debut album Thank Me Later, out June 15. During the week of his release, Drizzy will chat with Terrence and Rocsi on BET's "106 & Park." He'll then fly across the country to Los Angeles to perform on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on June 23 and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" the following day. And it doesn't end there. The "Fireworks" will really ignite when he sets the BET Awards stage ablaze with a performance on June 27. (Rap-Up)

Rappers weigh in on gulf oil spill

Rappers Big Boi, Xzibit and Master P have stepped forward to share their thoughts on the recent Gulf Coast oil spill disaster and how much of an impact it could have on society.

Louisiana-based rap mogul Master P said he has noticed the fatal effect the spill had on animals.
"It's definitely something that's another tragedy for our community," Master P said in an interview. "[You] have to realize we have to prepare for this but, you never know when something like the oil spill will happen. It's out of control and it's killing the animals and the business people that do fishing in that area. People don't realize how this is it's going to effect the entire country." (All Hip Hop)
West Coast rapper Xzibit shared a more critical reaction to the spill.
"disconnected people wont care about the #oilspill until the price of shrimp goes sky high!," he wrote over the weekend. "#sad but #true. ignorance is bliss." (Xzibit's Twitter)
Boi has even taken note of how long the spill has lasted.
"Gulf spill is likely worst environmental disaster in US history, Obama point person on environmental policy tells NBC's Meet the Press."
"Oil Spill Day 43 #f*ckaoilspill." (Big Boi's Twitter)
United States President Barack Obama has vouched to take action on finding out how the spill began.
"We have an obligation to investigate what went wrong and to determine what reforms are needed so that we never have to experience a crisis like this again,'' Obama said. "If the laws on our books are insufficient to prevent such a spill, the laws must change. If oversight was inadequate to enforce these laws, oversight has to be reformed. If our laws were broken, leading to this death and destruction, my solemn pledge is that we will bring those responsible to justice on behalf of the victims of this catastrophe and the people of the gulf region." (Los Angles Times)
The spill began around the Gulf of Mexico in late April.
The Deepwater Horizon oil spill, also called the BP Oil Spill, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill or the Macondo blowout, is a massive ongoing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, now considered the largest offshore spill in U.S. history. The spill stems from a sea floor oil gusher that started with an oil well blowout on April 20, 2010. The blowout caused a catastrophic explosion on the Deepwater Horizon offshore oil drilling platform that was situated about 40 miles (64 km) southeast of the Louisiana coast in the Macondo Prospect oil field. The explosion killed 11 platform workers and injured 17 others; another 98 people survived without serious physical injury. (Wikipedia)
