On her character: “I am a bad woof woof, flyer than a Frisbee.” On her purchase power: “I ain’t sleepin’ when I tell ya I am in my dream car.” An always-animated Minaj also possesses some of the best qualities of the women who came before her. She’s got Foxy’s sexual charisma, Missy’s playfulness, MC Lyte’s can-hang-with-the-boys confidence and Lil Kim’s love of weaves. “People need to get accustomed to seeing a female rapper again,” Minaj told MTV in a recent interview.
