More from That boy that ran up on waka flocka and gucci

OHHH OK UPDATE!!! this dude is Slick Pulla... AKA "dick pulla"- gucci Mane Lil cousin

Last night (May 19th), Queial of Da Congressmen addressed allegations that have been rampantly spreading across the net, concerning recent altercations with rappers Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane.

Queial, who hails from Atlanta’s Zone 1 on the West Side, is the cousin of rapper Slick Pulla, who has a long running feud Waka Flocka.

A video of the confrontation hit various Hip-Hop websites yesterday as Gucci Mane attempted to shoot a video.

The Congressmen are signed to Prestige Entertainment, Slick Pulla’s imprint.

The group consists of Queail Nitty, John Doe, Juan Don, Lil Buss It, Hood Rich, Card, Brown Tone, Juve the Young Kiddy, Joe Chinks and TLT Grip Set.

Queail denied reports that Da Congressman were Crips.

“Not down with no Crip, Not down with no Blood, not affiliated with none of them, but I can say I f**k with everybody," .

According to Queail, the problem with Waka started because “Waka is not from the ATL period, he’s from the country outside of Monroe.”

When asked if they were among the group of men involved in an altercation with Waka Flocka in Atlanta in the clothing store in March, Queail declined to say, due to legal implications.

“This has nothing to Jeezy, Gucci Mane or none of that s**t. Gucci and Jeezy don’t know nothing about that s**t, don’t wanna know nothing about that s**t," Queail told AllHipHop.com. "Gucci and Jeezy did they own thang, more power to them. This isn’t about Waka Flocka or none of that. First of all I smashed Waka Flocka for a reason, ya feel me, and that reason was in the streets.”

Mystikal has shared his stance on rap stars like Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane doing time behind bars and offered some words of wisdom.
Mystikal, who was released from jail earlier this year, said that he felt all entertainers are responsible for their own decisions.
"It's crazy. A lot of people ask me if I feel like they targeting rappers, and I guess there's truth to that, but the bottom line is, I'm in control of the decisions I make. I'm in control of the positions that I allow myself to be in. I'm in control of the muthaf*ckas I have around me. So in all those areas, I f*cked up. So it ultimately falls on me. So you got to wise up with the decisions you make, especially if you f*ckin' successful. Respect your success. I came off the throne to try to show somebody to just pay attention to what the f*ck you do 'cause it can cost you. Look how much it cost me, man. Six years. I'd be at that $100 million mark right now. I guarantee you. So now they done pissed me off. Now I want $200 million." (Complex)

Rapper/producer David Banner sat down to explain his motivation behind Gatorade’s commercial “Evolve,” which promotes their new G Series products.

Banner and BLACKstreet vocalist Kermit Quinn teamed up create the music for the “Evolve” spot, which was produced and written by David Banner.

“What we did was imagine if there were only three people,” David Banner told AllHipHop.com on how the music was created.

“One dude with a tuba, you had one dude with the snare and side stick and maybe the kick in the bass and we wanted to act like it was a small band, like a three or four piece band from back in the day,” Banner told AllHipHop.com.

The Grammy Award winning producer said that his message in the “Evolve” spot is one that he has been trying to deliver to Hip-Hop fans for years.

He expressed a bit of frustration in having to produce a nationally renowned commercial, in order to reach his intended demographic.

“The song is saying a lot,” Banner revealed to AllHipHop.com. “I actually am surprised and proud of Gatorade for giving us this opportunity to speak our voice. It’s not their responsibility to support our movement. It’s their responsibility to sell Gatorade. That’s what we have to realize. Unless we make ourselves profitable then our movements don’t mean s**t.”

The spot features a montage of older athletic equipment as flashes of champions such as Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Serena Williams and Boston Celtics Center, Kevin Garnett, Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard, Jamaican track star Usain Bolt and others.

The advertisement has been playing during high profile competitions during the NBA Playoffs in addition to the NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs Conference Finals.

“This is one of the first songs that’s not a rap song that people gave me 100% freedom to write what I felt,” David Banner told AllHipHop.com. “It doesn’t matter to me the medium. That’s what God has blessed me with. That’s what I tell the young rappers. It doesn’t matter if it’s rapping, if it’s a book, if it’s a movie, a book, by any means necessary. If you really want to do for your people, then it doesn’t matter the medium. That’s how the devil fools us.”

David Banner is preparing to release a new album with producer 9th Wonder titled Death of A Pop Star.

Banner handled the lyrical duties on the album, while 9th Wonder crafted the sound.

“I wanted to use this 9th Wonder record to prove that I can spit,” David Banner stated. “Like I didn’t want to produce any records. This record is about the death of the black contemporary musician.”
