R&B singer Alicia Keys is officially off the market after announcing being pregnant with her first child from soon-to-be husband/producer Swizz Beatz.

According to new reports, the hip-hop couple will officially wed later this year.
Alicia Keys is in a motherhood state of mind: She's pregnant with her first child. The Grammy Award-winning R&B singer has been dating producer Swizz Beatz, who has written hits for Beyonce (bee-AHN'-say), Jay-Z and others. They're engaged to be married at a private ceremony later this year. Representatives for the couple confirmed the news Thursday night. (Associated Press)
Beatz's ex-wife, Mashonda, recently filed a lawsuit against the producer in New York.
In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Mashonda Dean says the man who officially became her ex-husband two weeks ago already owes her $334,000 in missed payments. "I so much wanted both of us to get on with our lives and maintain our respect for one another, but he now shows that his priorities and sense of responsibility are screwed up," R&B singer Dean said. Dean's lawyer, Bernard Clair, called the nonpayment "particularly troubling" because of reports that Beatz bought a seven-carat engagement ring for Alicia Keys earlier this year and that they're moving into a $14.5 million duplex penthouse on Crosby Street. (NY Post)
However, Beatz has defended himself and refuted his ex-wife's claims.
He said he'd agreed to pay Dean more than the judge required and much more than his lawyer recommended -- he even had to sign court papers acknowledging that he was going against his attorney's advice. "I gave over what the judge was recommending to give. I gave her $700,000 up front, because I thought $200,000 wasn't enough for what she wanted to do. I still get spit in my face for it," he said. He suggested that the subsequent payments had been ready to go when he discovered "she'd been selling all my stuff out of my house." (NY Post)
Beatz recently spoke on his divorce from Mashonda.
"I don't got a wife no more," Swizz told radio personality DJ Enuff. "I'm 99 percent done, 99 percent. You lucky, you lucky I'm telling you. I'm lucky in a lot of ways, also, with my divorce but it's like the hardest thing I've ever been through. By far. You know what I'm saying? But it was a learning experience. The thing that upset me the most was the approach from the other side, it didn't have to be like that because it's false. It's like false things and having the wrong people around. Pumping yourself thinking you're gonna get a TV show off of so-called exposing. It's like clown things and it's, like, I'm always quiet with this sh*t. I can't answer, I can't even feed into because it's that much foolery to me...The reason why I got my divorce is for real sh*t. I didn't get busted cheating, it wasn't none of that. I had to, I got put into a situation where she was making me pick the relationship with my older son over my marriage." (The Wizards NYC)

PHOTOS ARE REAL!!!!

G-Unit leader 50 Cent explained his decision to lose over 50 pounds for his upcoming Things Fall Apart movie.

According to 50, his shocking weight-loss was inspired by a friend who experienced cancer.
"It's about a Heisman hopeful who could possibly be going to the league and everyone is assuming he's gonna make it and then he's hit with an illness," 50 explained in an interview. "I had a friend of mine who actually experienced cancer and it's what motivated me to write this screenplay. You don't have to make everything personal, but that project was. That's why I committed to playing a role where I lost 54 pounds. I had to discipline myself enough until I achieved it but... I got it. (Cleveland News)
Photographic evidence of the dropped weight hit the Internet yesterday (May 26).
50 Cent lost a lot of weight for his upcoming movie "Things Fall Apart". In the movie 50 Cent plays a football player diagnosed with cancer. He dropped from 214 pounds to an astonishing 160 with a liquid diet and three-hour-a-day treadmill walks for nine weeks. "I was starving." Now he's back on tour and says, "I've been eating. I'll be back in shape in no time!" (This Is 50)
G-Unit's Lloyd Banks confirmed 50's weight-loss last month.
"He did lose a lot of weight, man," Banks revealed in an interview with DJ Envy. "Like a good 40, 45 pounds. And I was around him everyday, so you didn't see it as much as people did but when I seen the pictures, it's affected everything. He's crazy, it's non-stop working, running ten miles, all that Universal Solider sh*t. He's in shape man, but he's been on icees man. All he ate was icees since February 23rd. And I ain't seen him, not sure if he cheated or not, all I seen was freezers of icees and I eat in front of him. KFC, Burger King." ("Sucker Free Sundays")
Recent reports suggested that he lost weight and removed body art to help with his acting career.
50 Cent is making moves to further his career in the film industry. The rapper is making a serious transition into acting, and has committed to removing some of his tattoos for an upcoming role in the film Things Fall Apart, which he co-wrote and produced. In addition Fif will lose 50 pounds for the on-screen feature. (Hip Hop Honey)

New York rapper Lloyd Banks has said G-Unit's new record deal is nearly complete and might cause problems for other artists.
The "Punch Line King" did say fans could expect to hear new records from him in the weeks to come.
"We gonna let the ["Beamer"] remix bubble through Memorial Day weekend," Banks said in an interview. "They can also expect a new record from Tony Yayo as well. We gotta make this a G-Unit summer..We're very close [to a label deal]. So close I want to tell you something now, but I don't want to ruffle no feathers...I don't want to get anybody nervous. It's gonna complement what we been doing, the hard work we been doing. It's gonna give us the international platform." (MTV)
Tony Yayo recently spoke on being released from InterscopeRecords last year.
"When we got dropped from Interscope it was like, 'Aww, man,'" he said in an interview. "It was like you know a crushing thing. You know, when you used to being on top and now you feel like, for me, you're feeling like you on the bottom...When I got dropped, I'm not gonna front. I was a little down about it. It's not like it was because of the money, because Interscope, they advanced me for my second album. So I got money that I didn't even deserve...but it's just the whole thing of being dropped and everybody looking at you." (XXL Mag)
Earlier this year, Yayo accused the company of blackballing G-Unit.
"I feel like Interscope was trying to blackball me," Yayo explained in an interview. "But to each's own, man, like, when T.O.S. came out, I felt like it was a classic album, T.O.S., but I felt like, a lot of stuff I was starting to learn about the [rap] game, like, why wasn't our album up two weeks ahead of time on iTunes? You know what I'm saying? It feels like there's always something messed up, I felt the office up here, G-Unit, was doing more work than Interscope. That's why I feel like I was getting blackballed." (True Stories Radio)
Last March, Banks talked about the advantages of rolling as an independent artist.
"This is my year. That's the other thing. When you are working independent, you can decide when...sometimes when you are working for a label, they put you on that time clock. Sometimes, things can get forced. We'll see in the very near future, it's a very smart option [for G-Unit to go independent.] Based on the response that I've gotten from 'Beamer, Benz of Bentley,' the artist is more powerful than you think...When I did the, 'Officer Down' - the response to Rick Ross - it was already 700 - 800 thousand free download before we even made the deal with iTunes. Before they approached me and I still sold 60 or 70 thousand." (All Hip Hop)

Free Agent Summit?

Any effort by the Bulls to lure Dwyane Wade to Chicago apparently would have to begin with the club explaining why its two greatest recent champions seem to be treated as outcasts.

Is D-Wade right to wonder how the Bulls treat former stars? Yes, loyalty matters No, it's a phony issue
The Bulls' image as unfriendly to former stars such as Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen could adversely affect the team's ability to land the Miami Heat guard or any of the other five-star free agents this summer, the Chicago Tribune reported Thursday.

"I think the biggest question that you think about has to be loyalty," Wade told the paper. "I know one thing about Miami: It is a very loyal organization. I see what they do with their players when their players get done with the game of basketball … how loyal they are. I don't know about the Bulls."

Wade said he plans to speak with the Cavaliers' LeBron James and the Hawks' Joe Johnson before making a decision once free agency begins July 1. The potential to win NBA titles may matter, but so too will what happens after the championship parades ends.

"I see Michael Jordan is not there, Scottie Pippen is not there. … You know, these guys are not a part," Wade said. "Things like that. So that is probably one of the biggest things for me, because I am a very loyal person."

Wade said he's not sure when the top free agents will compare notes. They have spoken informally in the past.

"(Free agency) has been three years coming," Wade said. "We've discussed it prematurely, at different times. (But) you don't know what guys are thinking and where they're going. I think we'll all sit down, and before one of us makes a decision, all of us will have spoken to each other and (listened to the) thinking."

Wade would welcome sharing the stage with another top-rung star.

"I understand that you have to have a great team, a great supporting cast around you. That's all I want," he told the paper. "My ego is not that big. … I just want to win."

The Bucs and DT Gerald McCoy expect the third-overall pick to be in camp on time (Cliff Welch)

The Buccaneers front office and the representative for Gerald McCoy are optimistic that his rookie contract will be done before training camp starts. McCoy was taken with the third-overall pick in the draft, and the contract will be aided by a defensive lineman being taken with the third pick in the 2009 NFL Draft.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the representative for defensive tackle Gerald McCoy have not started serious negotiations on McCoy's contract yet. The Bucs will have general manager Mark Dominik and director of football administration Digger Daley negotiating the contract with McCoy's representatives, Ben Dogra and Kelli Masters. Both sides are optimistic a deal will be done on time and a hold out will be avoided.

The Bucs and Masters benefit from a contract in the 2009 NFL Draft. The Kansas City Chiefs took LSU defensive end Tyson Jackson with the third-overall pick in the draft. This year, Dominik and Masters can use Jackson's contract as a basis to negotiate McCoy's deal. It helps that both players are defensive linemen.

Typical deals for NFL rookies see an annual increase in the value of rookie contracts. That percentage can be added towards Jackson's contract, and minus some finer points, the contract should be rather cut and dry.

Jackson signed his contract in time for the first practice in training camp. ESPN reported that he received a five-year contract worth $57 million with $31 million guaranteed. Jackson's agent was Eugene Parker. McCoy's contract could total over $60 million with $35 million guaranteed.

McCoy and Masters have spent some of their time researching the Tampa Bay area and how McCoy can get active in community charities. McCoy, 22, plans on being very active in the local community and is spending his non-football time getting to know the area and find places where he would like to focus his community participation.

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound McCoy grew up a Buccaneers fan, and had a particular affinity for former Buccaneer legendary defensive tackle Warren Sapp.

Dominik and Masters declined to publicly comment on the upcoming negotiations, but both parties were optimistic that the contract would be an easy process and it would be done on time. The Buccaneers have not publicly announced the start date for their 2010 training camp, which will again be held at One Buccaneer Place in Tampa, but it is expected to begin on or around July 31.

Last year, Tampa Bay signed first-round pick quarterback Josh Freeman on the day that the players reported for training camp. Contracts for quarterbacks tend to be more difficult to negotiate. Freeman's contract was reportedly worth $36 million over five seasons with $10.245 million guaranteed.

Nicki Minaj Concert at club underground saturday

Nicki Minaj
SATURDAY 10 p.m. Club Underground, 802-806 E Whiting St., Tampa. $35 and up. (727) 831-8776.
Nicki Minaj is the biggest, baddest female rapper in the game right now. Problem is, that’s not saying a whole lot. With a complete lack of “femcees,” this twenty-something “Harajuku Barbie” is poised for a decade of domination, especially with lines like this. On her character: “I am a bad woof woof, flyer than a Frisbee.” On her purchase power: “I ain’t sleepin’ when I tell ya I am in my dream car.” An always-animated Minaj also possesses some of the best qualities of the women who came before her. She’s got Foxy’s sexual charisma, Missy’s playfulness, MC Lyte’s can-hang-with-the-boys confidence and Lil Kim’s love of weaves. “People need to get accustomed to seeing a female rapper again,” Minaj told MTV in a recent interview.

Is Zack Randolph a D-Boy??? probably not... just his associates.

Zach Randolph Memphis GrizzliesAn NBA player and former Marion basketball standout has been implicated in an Indianapolis drug investigation. According to a probable cause affidavit, a trusted police informant identified Memphis Grizzlie player Zach Randolph as a major marijuana supplier in Indianapolis, 6News’ Jack Rinehart reported.

Narcotics officers were staking out a suspected drug house on Indianapolis’ north side two weeks ago when they pulled over Arthur Boyd, 32, soon after he left the residence, near 75th Street and Binford Avenue, police said. According to the affidavit, the Cadillac Escalade that Boyd was driving was registered to Randolph, and police found marijuana and ammunition stowed inside.

“One of his vehicles had what we call hidden compartments that contained suspected narcotics, that being marijuana,” said Lt. Jeff Duhamell. Based on information found in the Escalade, police later raided a northeast side storage facility, where they said Randolph rents four lockers. Randolph’s attorney, John Tompkins, told 6News Wednesday evening that Boyd worked for his client, and that Randolph is not connected to any drug activity. He said Randolph’s vehicle has secret compartments as a safety precaution for concealing valuables, and that police have told him the vehicles are in the process of being released.

Tompkins said the Memphis Grizzlies will release a statement on Thursday in support of Randolph. Randolph has a long criminal history. He was convicted of battery and sentenced to house arrest in 1997, and spent time in a juvenile detention center in 1999 for selling a stolen gun. Three years later, he was arrested on charges of underage drinking, and faced charges in Portland after police said they could smell marijuana coming from his car.
Randolph’s latest arrest was in 2009 on charges of drunken driving in Los Angeles.

70% percent of African American Children Cant Swim????

Fourteen-year-old Cornelius Thomas slipped off a raft and drowned in a high-school swimming pool earlier this month in Alexandria, La. He had never been taught how to swim. There aren't any "pools for kids to learn how to swim around here," Forest Martin, the boy's grandfather, said Tuesday as he wept.

Cornelius's drowning reflects a problem USA Swimming hopes to highlight Thursday in a report showing that 70% of African-American children and 58% of Hispanic children have little or no swimming ability, compared with 40% of Caucasian children.

Richard Carson
Olympic gold medalist Cullen Jones gives a swimming lesson.
.Evidence of a continued swimming gap comes as the economic slowdown has cut back opportunities for inner-city kids to swim. With the approach of Memorial Day, the official start of swim season, "some cities are cutting back on pool hours if not closing pools altogether, and they're also cutting public-safety budgets, including lifeguards," says Christiana McFarland, director of finance and economic development for the National League of Cities.

The report, including interviews with children and parents in several cities, revealed that the biggest barrier to inner-city swimming proficiency isn't a lack of pools and instructors, but parents' fear of water.

Among low-income families, "many parents wouldn't let kids swim even if lessons were free, a theme that was tested four times in different focus groups," according to a summary of the study, conducted by Richard Irwin, professor of health and sports sciences at the University of Memphis. "Overall, fear trumped financial concerns across all respondent race groups in low-income families."

The low swimming-proficiency rate reflects both the prohibition against blacks in public pools that lasted well into the civil-rights era and a legacy of bogus science that, as recently as the 1970s, claimed blacks were biologically disadvantaged in water. In an interview, Dr. Irwin said black parents who can't swim often go to incredible lengths to keep their children away from water. At the same time, children of all races tend to overestimate their swimming abilities, particularly when a pool or beach emerges into view on a hot summer day.

According to the most recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 5- to 14-year-old African-Americans drowned at 3.1 times the rate of whites in that age range, from 2000 to 2006. And in that period African-American kids were five times as likely as white kids to drown in swimming pools, in some cases inches from safety. "Many minority children do not have the basic survival swimming skills to keep them from drowning in a swimming pool," says a CDC spokesman.

Since 2007, a USA Swimming Foundation program called Make a Splash has taught basic swimming skills to 325,000 children and aims to reach a record number this summer. A leader in the effort is Cullen Jones, an African-American whose mother made him learn to swim after a near-drowning at age 5. In 2008, Mr. Jones won an Olympic gold medal as part of an American relay team. Since last summer he has held the U.S. record in the 50-meter freestyle.

Scott Storch speaks on Detox.
Producer Scott Storch recently talked about Dr. Dre's long-awaited Detox album and said the rap veteran is taking a fresh approach to the project's overall sound.

According to Storch, Dre is taking a more experimental approach to the new record.
But don't expect the same sound as Dre's classic 2001 album. The beatmakers made sure not to include tracks that were too reminiscent of the past. "I think people will be pleasantly surprised when they hear it. It's definitely a departure from a lot of the stuff Dre has done and the stuff Dre and I have done in the past. It's a hybrid," he revealed. The long-awaited project is nearing completion. "I think he's looking for like three more records," Storch said, while joking, "So that should take about 400 records to get those three. He's got pretty high standards." (Rap-Up)

Rick Ross Tells more about his new partnership with diddy
Southern rapper Rick Ross recently expanded on his new partnership with Diddy and why rubbing elbows with the rap mogul has opened the door to possible clothing, film and book deals.

Ross also said that Diddy would be helping to produce his Teflon Don album.
"It was the even bigger and better things that are on the horizon, which continue to present themselves every day -- things I never considered up to this point. Book deals, now we're considering liquor endorsements, clothing lines, films, books. Me and F. Gary Gray [who directed Ross' "Super High" video] are talking about doing some things. I just wanna make sure I make the right decisions when those opportunities present themselves...We went through so many records. Just to hear [Diddy's] input down to the smallest things, you know: percussions and snares and the production of the production. That's what I want. That's what I respect." (MTV)

Tybee police 'apologetic' for Tasing autistic teen
Chief defends officers' response; city manager vows training; witness disputes reports

Clifford Grevemberg says he was Tased twice by police and thrown to the ground, breaking one of his front teeth.

Police on Tybee Island issued a careful apology Monday for wounds an autistic teenager suffered when officers Tased and threw him to the ground outside a bar Friday night.

Yet Police Chief James Price starkly defended those officers' actions, saying the teen, Clifford Grevemberg, appeared intoxicated and police were unaware of his medical condition.

Price also cited the "rowdy, raucous" atmosphere that surrounded the Beach Bum Parade that evening on Tybee.

"We are sincerely apologetic for the injuries suffered by Mr. Grevemberg," Price said in a statement. "We are also sorry that he was left unattended" amid such revelry.

Grevemberg, 18, was sitting outside the Rock House, at Butler Avenue and Tybrisa Street, about 10:45 p.m. Friday, while his brother went inside to order food, according to accounts from the family.

Police approached and questioned him; a struggle ensued, and an officer shot Taser barbs into the teen's back.

Grevemberg, who stands 6-foot-9, fell to the ground, suffering a broken front tooth and scrapes on his face and knee. He was charged with disorderly conduct and released from custody that night. His family has said he has never consumed alcohol.

On Monday, Tybee City Manager Diane Schleicher called the incident "very unfortunate" and said Tybee police officers would undergo training to be better prepared when encountering a person with special needs.

Meanwhile, a man who witnessed the incident said the police reports were largely inaccurate.

Members of Grevemberg's family declined to comment on the revelations Monday, explaining they needed a break from the stressful ordeal.

Police recount sequence

According to the incident report, officers Timothy Sullivan and Travis Daniel approached Grevemberg, who was "staggering back and forth" in front of the Rock House, at 10:43 p.m.

The officers asked Grevemberg if he had been drinking, and Grevemberg answered, "Yes," according to the police documents.

The teen also told the police his age and that his brother was getting food inside.

Daniel reported that Grevemberg's "responses were slow and slurred" and "his eyes seemed to be in a fixed gaze."

When asked for identification, Grevemberg tried to walk away, according to the police.

"I then grabbed his arm to stop him," Sullivan wrote in the incident report. "He began pulling away from me and swinging his arms wildly."

Daniel told him to stop struggling and when he did not, the officer fired the Taser at Grevemberg's back, causing him to collapse forward, police reported.

Paramedics arrived and treated Grevemberg for the injuries. A crowd that included the brother, who was irate, began to swell, and Grevemberg was taken to the police department, officers reported.

There, he was booked and released to his parents, who were upset and demanding an explanation, according to the police report.

Situation murky

Price, the police chief, said in a statement released Monday that the incident reports bear witness to complex circumstances, difficult for officers to discern.

"The officers had no way of knowing that Mr. Grevemberg was autistic and unable to converse in a normally sociable manner with other adults," Price said. "He showed many of the characteristics of an intoxicated person. He was a foot taller than both of the involved officers. He became violent for no obvious reason."

He added: "The officer with the Taser ended the fight and prevented further injuries to Mr. Grevemberg and to the officers themselves."

Speaking generally, Maj. Harlan Proveaux, who directs the regional police academy in Savannah, said officers must often make split-second decisions in uncertain situations.

"It's easy to play quarterback after the pass has been thrown," Proveaux said. "An officer has to do what he thinks he has to do to protect himself and the individual. If a Taser wasn't reasonable, what would have been reasonable? Officers are limited in the tools they have available."

He said academy curriculum covers encounters with an impaired person.

But, Proveaux added, those conditions are often not immediately recognizable.

Reports disputed

In the Tybee Island case, witness Matthew Tyson disputed much of the reports released by police on Monday, particularly the accounts that Grevemberg swung his arms or resisted the officers.

Tyson, 27, said he was walking toward the Rock House when he saw police speaking with Grevemberg, who was sitting on the curb.

The officers then stood Grevemberg up and asked him twice for identification, Tyson said.

"One officer grabbed him by his arm pretty tight," Tyson recalled, adding that Grevemberg appeared to be startled. "But he wasn't trying to run away or snatch his arm away."

That's when the second officer grabbed Grevemberg's other arm, Tyson said.

"They proceeded to throw him to the ground," Tyson said. "And that's when they shot the Taser."

He said onlookers began to clamor, and an ambulance arrived shortly after.

"I witnessed police brutality - there's absolutely no excuse for what I saw," Tyson said. "They didn't take time to accurately see what was going on with this young man and assumed he was some problem kid who needed to be handled very, very roughly."

He added: "(Grevemberg) wasn't out of control at all. The only people who were out of control were the officers."

'Perfect storm'

Schleicher said Monday the incident occurred amid a "perfect storm" and said the Beach Bum event often attracts swarms of underage drinkers.

"Still, training is needed," Schleicher said. "We will be getting some special needs training so (officers) will recognize situations like that."

She said she had discussed the matter with Chief Price and the department would likely work with another agency in arranging the sessions.

Grevemberg, meanwhile, awaits an appearance at the Tybee Municipal Court on July 27.

In his statement, Price said: "As his case finds its way through the justice system, we are certain the judge will take into account any and all mitigating circumstances in rendering his decision."

And T.I. gets lady gaga for the new album
"Phenomenal talent. Extremely proud [to work with her]," Tip said about Gaga. "She's definitely that good. She knows what she's doing. She knows exactly what she wants people to think and say. She does everything that she needs to be done to ensure it happens...We gonna go back in and record some more songs...But the one we have right now is entitled 'Lick It.' I think we both have a tendency to shock the world in a lot of different ways...[My Eminem collaboration] is in the making. It just hasn't been recorded yet. The song has been picked out and it's been agreed for us to do it. We're thinking a song that can definitely make its way to the club." (MTV)

Earlier this month, Ross announced the creation of his new underground project.
"I'm in the lab cooking up Teflon Don, the album," Ross said in an interview. "I'm also wrapping up a mixtape by the name of Albert Anastasia. The Albert Anastasia EP, hosted by DJ Smallz, lookout for that sh*t. We gonna drop that Memorial Weekend just for the streets...A few n*ggas used to call me 'Fat Albert' growing up. It was funny and then stumbled across another name. It's cool, do your history. It's most definitely a dope mixtape, it's most definitely gonna have all new music on there. I've been releasing a few freestyles, just prepping the sh*t up. It's gonna be a classic mixtape just to feed the real n*ggas in the streets just before I give them this Teflon Don." (Spliff TV)
Aside from the music, Ross recently talked about dealing with the public's misconceptions of him.
"There's always gonna be misconceptions," Ross explained in an interview with Boss Lady. "There's always gonna be opinions and they not necessarily bad. Because a lot of times, people learn things in time. So what could have been a misconception last year, with a lot of people, isn't a misconception this year. I always had thick skin growing up. I was always the fat black dude with the cheap shoes on. I always had thick skin when it came to jokes or whatever and I could always tell a good joke. I could tell a great joke...' (Dr. Jays)
Ross is currently preparing the release of his new album, Teflon Don.
"It was a real good move," Ross said about the delay. "I felt like the June 29th was a little too premature, that was the date my homie Diddy was coming out on anyway. And you know that's the homie, so I felt like coming in the early July, middle July was best for me from day one. But it's always good anyway man as long as you're setting up all your pieces up in the right place. You're setting your radio up, you're setting your marketing up, the rest of that sh*t come in place when you got hits." (Rap Radar)

The Real Ricky Ross Wants his Due for using his name.
MAY 25, 2010 - Since his release from a life sentence in federal prison May 4, 2009, Ricky D. Ross a/k/a "Rick Ross", the ex-drug kingpin from LA, has been preparing to go to war against all parties who profited off of his name unlawfully while he was in jail, without his consent, particularly William L. Roberts II, Def Jam, Universal and others. As the above-named parties gear up to release the 4th "Roberts as RICK ROSS" album titled "Teflon Don", a storm is brewing in the real "Rick Ross" camp against the anticipated album imminent summer release. It's no secret that the Boss at Freeway Enterprise. com is unhappy with how his name has been exploited and misused since he went to prison in 1995, and in 2006, the above-named parties signed Roberts to a big record deal and then spent, and made, millions off Ross' name. Rick Ross protested the exploitation and misuse of his name from prison in 2006, by having a lawyer send letters to Def Jam to cease use, which they ignored.

The above-named parties branded Roberts as "RICK ROSS" and dominated use of the real Rick Ross' name, created Roberts false drug dealer image and based it on Rick Ross' real drug dealer image, in the Black, urban crime, and rap community. Roberts' breakout hit (Everyday I'm) Hustlin was about him falsely being this rapper and drug dealer named "RICK ROSS", and with the financial backing of the above-named parties, Roberts became a rap star, and Rick Ross got nothing. If Rick Ross was still in jail, the story would be over!

Detox NEWS.
First of all, Face is working on a new song with Dr. Dre that is supposed to be on Detox. I know people are hateful towards Detox rumors at this point, but I have to say it. Face says he won’t be using Dre beats though, because they are too costly. But, Scarface is also working on his new album called The Habit. Face is producing that album mostly by himself.
